CENTRAL HEIGHTS — The Central Heights Blue Devils etched their name in the win column Tuesday night, outlasting a hot-shooting Woden team that cooled in the second half to give the Devils a 63-47 win in Russell Gymnasium.

“It’s always good (to start the season with a win). It keeps things positive,” said Central Heights head coach Kevin Herron. “It helps everybody get in the flow and come out and play the way we play. I think we can still play better and I’m excited about that.”
